Ceiling Falls In After Water Damage Saturates Ceiling

The water heater located in the attic of the house overflowed causing the ceiling to collapse. The water became too heavy, which caused not only the ceiling to fall but all the insulation as well. The insulation and water fell into the bedroom which caused for immediate attention. SERVPRO’s highly trained technicians thoroughly cleaned the drywall, ceiling and insulation from the bedroom. Additionally, they dried the structure of the room a long with all nearby furniture that was affected by the overflow of water. Last, they removed the damaged ceiling in preparation for the reconstruction and installation of the drywall.
